Welcome consultants

We would love to have you with us as a potential fractional consultant.

For those who are unsure, a fractional consultant is one who (usually) works with multiple clients simultaneously, offering their skills on an as needed basis. This could be as little as two days per month, or as much as five days per week, depending on client needs.

Your contractual arrangement is with the end client, not with Konexi. We are merely the vessel that links you together.

IR35 status is still determined by the end client (unless they class as "small" company for this purpose in which case it will be you who determines your status) but we offer help to the client to determine status, ensuring as often as possible that roles are outside IR35

We work with clients across the private, public and third sectors, at all sizes including start ups. Start ups are often very keen on fractional consultants as they need the skills but cannot commit at their stage of development to a full time hire. You will hopefully have the opportunity to work with a variety of different clients, bringing your unique skills to their organisations on a flexible basis.

Please ensure your CV includes outcomes rather than tasks completed - what did you deliver for your client and how did it benefit them? That is what our clients are interested in. All CVs submitted are read by a human - we do not pass your CV through any form of ATS or other AI based system. We like to work with humans so we need to be that too. What skills are we looking for?

We have all sorts of requirements for all sorts of skills. Basic rules of thumb - you should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in whatever skill (or skills) you are offering as a fractional consultant. All of these skills must be represented clearly on your CV with verifiable references (taken before offer, not just generally). Please note that in the skills boxes below, where it says Senior, in practice this means "head of section" or "head of division". You should be comfortable acting in a mentoring capacity as many clients are looking for help to boost their internal team skills. You should of course be comfortable taking assignments from as little as 2 days per month to near full time. If you have any questions, feel free to email or call.
